Game Modes

Solo Mode In the solo mode of dancen, users are equipped with NFT vinyl records to earn tokens by listening to music and dancing. $DST tokens, which is the in-game currency, can be earned by playing a vinyl record on a turntable within the Dancen application. Each vinyl record will be unique in terms of rarity, genre, durability, and overall quality. These traits determine how much $DST the NFT will earn every minute and how much time it will be playable each day. To begin, users select a vinyl record in their collection, and press play.

The chosen vinyl record will be durable for a limited duration as it will overheat and require a cooldown period. After this period has passed, the record’s durability will be restored, and it will be ready for use again. More information about the record’s durability can be found in ‘’Record-minting’’. Every minute that the vinyl record is playing, $DST/$dancen tokens will be paid out; the number of tokens received by the user is determined by 2 key factors: 1. The rarity of the record - There will be four different rarities (common, uncommon, rare, legendary) of vinyl records available. The rarer the NFT, the more tokens it will earn each minute. More info can be found in the ‘’Records’’ segment. 2. The record’s level – The user can level up the record, just by playing it on the turntable. The higher the record’s level, the higher the amount of tokens the user will receive. Once the records’ has reached level MAX then the user can choose to stay earning $DST, or switch to earn $dancen. More info can be found in the ‘’Records’’ segment. Club Mode In the club mode you can earn $DST/$dancen tokens whilst enjoying yourself at public parties, clubs, festivals and more. There will be several Dancen zones created which users can enter to boost their $DST/$dancen earnings. The application determines whether a user is in or out of the Dancen zone by tracking their GPS position. When the user enters the Dancen zone, a green light will appear; when the user exits the zone, the green light will disappear again. To avoid cheaters, anti-cheating mechanisms will be implemented. Visit your favorite club, and dance-to-earn some $DST/$dancen tokens! 🔥 Dancen plans to work with clubs, festivals, and other dance-related activities to provide an exclusive in-person Dancen experience. Dancen’s partnership enhances brand awareness and provides its partners a dancen zone where users can go to earn $DST/$dancen just by spending time there. Go out and party whilst earning money, sounds too good to be true, right? Drinks, admission, and other expenses can add up quickly when attending a party. Dancen will help you recover part of your expenses! How do we finance it? By placing a dancen zone at the partner's location, a portion of the dancen community will decide to go there and dance-to-earn. This group will spend as usual, and the partner will generate more revenue as there is more demand. Dancen wants to give back to its users by providing a boost in earnings and other location-specific giveaways. This is a WIN-WIN situation! 💸 Mystery box Just by using the application users can earn mystery boxes which will be received at random. Each user has 3 mystery box slots. The mystery box will either contain, a vinyl record, an upgrade, day-tickets, $DST/$dancen tokens, or other prizes. Opening these boxes, however, requires patience as they are locked for a set period of time. Users will spend a small amount of $DST to open it. Later in the dancen application's development, mystery boxes containing various rarities will be available in the shop.
